THE SAI "LOCK AND TWIST" MOUNTING SYSTEM WITH GAS SEAL UNIT
The” Lock & Twist” mounting system was developed by SAI back in 2007 and enables the user to fit the silencer / suppressor to the standard NATO Flash Suppressor without the need of tools and without any alterations to the firearm. The Gas Seal unit completely removes excess gas from disturbing the shooter Additionally, SAI's Gas Seal tangibly increases the accuracy of the weapon by stabilizing the bullet when it exits the muzzle. By functioning as a crown on the muzzle, the Gas Seal eliminates the accuracy-reducing wobble of the bullet caused by the A2 Flash Hider's asymmetrical design.

The SAI “Lock and Twist” mounting system with gas seal unit is built into the SAI manufactured M80 series of silencers / suppressors for a wide variety of 5.56mm platforms, specifically configured for rifle, carbine, and commando barrel lengths, fitted with the standard NATO A2 Flash Suppressor. Variants of the SAI manufactured M80 series of silencers have been made for the Enfield SA80 and H&K G36 and 416. Instead of offering a "one size fits all" suppressor, SAI fully understands the myriad of factors that introducing a suppressor to a weapon entails, the most important being reliability. This is why SAI has developed versions of the M80 to be most compatible with different lengths of barrels. With these specifically tuned suppressors, a Designated Marksman's rifle, a Soldier's Carbine, and an Operator's CQB rifle will all fight with maximum reliability.
